FRESH FIVE LEADS TO WIN
PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College started an entire new lineup up and the change led to a 97-89 win over the Phoenix of Cumberland University.
Junior Cam Miller, in his second start of the season, and Freshman Kyzer Phillips, in his first start, led the Pioneers with 22 points each in the win. Junior Cole Nichols returned to the starting lineup and contributed 19 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists, including a perfect eight for eight from the free-throw line. Freshman Bodie Bowden, in his first start, scored 17 points. Junior Kuel Lual, also in his first start, added 11 points and eight rebounds on the night.
CRC led by as much as 15 points midway through the first half. The Pioneers took a 46-34 lead into the half. The Pioneers had their largest lead at 19 points early in the second half.
