PIONEERS STORM PAST PATRIOTS
PARAGOULD, AR - Four Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers scored in double figures on their way to a 99-74 conference win over Mission University. CRC expanded on their 56-34 halftime lead and led by as much as 30 points with 6:57 to play in the game.
Azani Smith led the way for CRC with 25 points and five rebounds. Kuel Lual and Cam Miller each added 14 points in the game. Ethan Bell finished with 13 points and seven rebounds for the Pioneers.
CRC outrebounded the Patriots 45-24 on the day, including a 13 to 7 advantage on the offensive end. The Pioneers outscored Mission 17-6 in second-chance points.
CRC shot 35-66 from the floor for 53%, including eight for 24 from the three-point line. The Pioneers shot 21 of 23 from the free-throw line en route to the win.
