PIONEERS FALL IN OVERTIME

SPRINGFIELD, MO - Crowley's Ridge College came back from being down as much as 10 points to send the game to overtime before falling to Central Baptist College in the first round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament.

CRC trailed 31-27 at the half in a game that had nine lead changes and nine ties. The Pioneers' biggest lead was by six points with 9:25 to play in the second half. The game was tied at 61 each after regulation.

Central Baptist used 16 Pioneers turnovers that led to 22 points for the Mustangs.

Cam Miller led CRC with 18 points. Azani Smith scored 13 points with 11 rebounds, and Ethan Bell added 10 points.

With the loss to CBC in the AMC Quarterfinals, the Pioneers' 2025-26 season officially comes to a close. 19th year head coach Chris Perkins and the Pioneers end the season with an overall record of 12-17 (5-9 in the AMC).
