Sets: 25-14 CRC, 25-13 CRC, and 25-17 CRC.

Paragould, Ark.- Crowley's Ridge College defended its home court this evening against the Mustangs of Central Baptist College to remain spotless in the American Midwest Conference, improving to (5-0) on the year, with the team's three-set sweep tonight over the Mustangs in the Carter Activities Center.

The Pioneers opened the contest full throttle by running away with the opening frame with a double-digit point difference above the Mustangs.  CRC broke apart to win set one with a score of 25-14, due to a huge solo block by Amiyah Saxton that shifted the favor for the Pioneers at the midway point.  Set two, the Pioneers would again control the frame as CRC hammered out a game-high 18 kills on the Mustangs, overpowering their opponent with such an explosive offensive wave. Brooklyn Cross led the Pioneers this frame with 5 kills. In the final set, CRC would face the biggest Mustags response, seeing seventeen points go in the favor of CBC, but it wouldn't be enough to alter their fate, with the Pioneers winning the race to twenty-five with the help of a third set of double-digit kills offensively.

Brooklyn Cross led the team with 13 kills for the evening. Jillian Glasgow led the team in assists with 22, and Maddie Burris followed close behind with 15 for the Pioneers. Defensively, three Lady Pioneers entered double-digit dig territory with sophomore Jesalyn Carpino leading the team with 12, followed by Mallory Hollis' 11, and Alyssa Dirden's 10. Lastly, Amiyah Saxton added 7 total blocks (3 solo) for the Pioneers.

Up Next: The Pioneers will return to the highway, traveling to Florida for a non-conference weekend at Pensacola Christian College this Friday and Saturday. #GOPIONEERS
