PARAGOULD, Ark. – Crowley's Ridge College celebrated the collegiate careers of Olivia Deckelman and Kaitlyn Perkins on Friday evening, as the Lady 'Neers picked up a sweeping victory over Harris-Stowe State (Mo.) University 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

Crowley's Ridge (6-18, 1-7 CAC) and Harris-Stowe State (3-16, 0-6 AMC) battled through a contentious first set, trading blows as late as a 16-16 tie. After an Emi Elms kill, Hannah Halverson took the rein and settled up to the service line with an ace. That would be followed by six unanswered points, putting the Lady Pioneers at set point. Brooklyn Passmore would plunge the dagger in the first set, picking up the 25-18 victory.

Deckelman showed out on her senior night, pushing points in the second set with an ace bookending a 6-0 run for the Lady Pioneers. The Hornets would try to answer back, but for every point, the Lady Pioneers would answer with multiple rallies. Paige Glenn closed the door on HSSU in the second set with a kill to end the set 25-15.

CRC used a plethora of scoring runs in what would be the final set, forcing Harris-Stowe State to use up both of their timeouts before CRC reached 15. The Lady Pioneers would cruise to a 25-14 set win to take the match 3-0.

Emi Elms helmed the Lady Pioneer attack with nine kills. Deckelman put an exclamation mark on her CRC career with a five-kill, five-block night. Classmate Perkins continued her stellar play on the back row, tallying 22 digs in the victory.
