Pioneers Split in AMC Quad Pod

Pioneers Split in AMC Quad Pod- Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 11/1/25

Pioneer Volleyball endured both sides of the spectrum in today's quad pod matchup, with the Pioneers facing a three-set sweep loss to Columbia College before picking up the three-set sweep win over Hannibal-LaGrange. Crowley's Ridge settles in at 15-18 overall and 12-3 in the American Midwest Conference.

Paragould, Ark.- Columbia College got the best of the Pioneers in the first matchup of the quad pod, with the Cougars sweeping the Pioneers on their home court with set scores of 25-16, and back-to-back set wins of 27-25. CRC's offense rallied off three sets of double-digit kills, totaling 36, but would be narrowly outmatched by the Cougar attack, with CC's 44 kills in the contest. Kyrsten Bake led the Pioneers with 9 kills. Jillian Glasgow recorded her 12th double-double with a team-high 18 assists and 14 digs. Maddie Burris and Mallory Hollis also had double-digit stats following Glasgow, with Burris' 17 assists and Hollis' 13 digs.

Paragould, Ark.- For the second time in two days, the Pioneers again swept AMC opponent Hannibal-LaGrange University, this time with set wins of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-19 in today's fourth match in the Carter Activities Center. The Pioneers controlled every flow of the contest, leading the Trojans in all categories, earning a final home court win for the 2025-26 season. Amiyah Saxton led the offense with 8 kills, Maddie Burris led in assists with 15, followed by Jillian Glasgow with 12 assists, and Alyssa Dirden led in digs with 15.  

Up Next: The Pioneers will travel to Batesville, AR, to take on Lyon College in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, November 4th. #GOPIONEERS
