The Pioneers improved to 13-15 overall on the year and 10-1 in the American Midwest Conference with two victories earlier this afternoon. CRC first defeated Harris-Stowe State University 3 sets to 1 before sweeping University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in game two.

St. Louis, MO - In the afternoon's opening match, Amiyah Saxton paved the way to victory for the Pioneers with the junior middle blocker recording a career-best and team season-high 19 kills on a .349 hitting percentage in the four-set contest. As a whole, the team outhit the Hornets in every frame, with the Pioneers pushing out a 14-kill frame, two 13-kill frames, and one 12-kill frame. Junior Brooklyn Cross would follow Saxton on the kill leaderboard with the Little Rock, AR native adding 11 kills in the conference win. Defensively, junior Mallory Hollis led the team with the Paragould native recording 20 digs for the team, and was followed by sophomore Jesalyn Carpino, who also cracked the double-digit mark with her 11 digs. Diamond duo, Jillian Glasgow and Maddie Burris, split the assists for the team with Glasgow shelling out 26 and Burris, 19. From the service line, Glasgow and Burris also would lead the charge with both ladies serving up 4 service aces in the contest.

St. Louis, MO- Junior Amiyah Saxton would again pace the Pioneer offense on the floor with Saxton hammering out a team-high 15 kills on a .452% vs UHSP. The Pioneers swiftly defeated the Eutectics with three quick sets of 25-13, 25-22, and 25-17; credited to the squad almost doubling their overall team hitting percentage from game one. In contest number two, CRC totaled 41 kills on a .330 % against the Eutectics while holding UHSP to 33 kills on a .213%. Jillian Glasgow recorded a team-high 10 digs and 19 assists in the win, which gives the junior her 10th double-double of the season. Sophomore Maddie Burris followed up with 17 assists, bringing her total to 36 for the day.
